Our story
Since 2008 we have been designing and building professional wood chippers and drum wood chippers, entirely in Italy.
In 2008 Lucio Gobbato founded the company with a clear goal: to design and build wood chipping machinery. Thirty years of experience in agricultural machinery design made it possible from the very start to develop innovative designs for building disc wood chippers, suited to chipping both green and dry material from prunings, destined for disposal or for feeding wood-chip boilers.
Key milestones
The Hercules wood chipper and the NO-STRESS system
The first wood chipping machines were identified under the name Hercules: fitted with a hydraulically driven feed roller, they were also the first machines with automatic electronic load control, the NO-STRESS system. In the following years the company became known across Europe, thanks to partnerships with importers in Germany, France, Belgium and Austria.
The Galaxi wood chipper is born
Building on the experience gained with the Hercules wood chippers, the Galaxi models were born, with a double feed roller and an improved cutting system, making chipping faster and more versatile for every type of use.
Daniel joins the company
Lucio's son Daniel brought a wave of innovation and modernization to the company, speeding up internal processes and giving the company a wider, more capillary presence across Italy, as well as developing new international sales networks.
The Fusion wood chipper and the first road-legal trailers
The Fusion model was launched, with roller and chain feed: an immediate success, highly valued by green-waste maintenance professionals for the drastic reduction in chipping times. Alongside PTO wood chippers, the company began designing and building special-use trailers, obtaining European type-approval for both Diesel and petrol engine versions.
Structure, production and after-sales
Meanwhile the company grew, expanding and structuring itself to increase efficiency and production capacity. The after-sales department was strengthened, thanks in part to Alberto, a highly skilled technician, ensuring quick response to technical requests from customers and importers and fast supply of spare parts.
The TITAN drum wood chipper project
With the TITAN project, a professional drum wood chipper, the company completed its product range with a machine offering remarkable efficiency, valued by every green-maintenance business, and produced in every version: tracked, hydrostatic wheeled, manually moved and PTO-driven.
TITAN SUPER DRUM WOOD CHIPPER
The TITAN SUPER model was launched: an immediate success, valued worldwide for its cutting capacity and versatility of use, with sensational performance.
PREDATOR DRUM WOOD CHIPPER AND FUSION MOTOR E800 WOOD CHIPPER
Coming up to the present day, the company has developed new trailer-mounted models: the PREDATOR, with 750 kg type-approval, and the Fusion Motor E800 wood chipper with 1000 kg type-approval, highly valued both nationally and internationally for their ease of movement and compact size. All of this without ever abandoning what has set us apart over the years: the quality of our products and our ability to satisfy the customer.
Our production department
Every GL&D machine is assembled, checked and tested at our facility in Mestrino (PD) before delivery.
